Caesar Salad

Looking for a quick and delicious twist on a classic favorite? This Mock Caesar Salad delivers all the bold, creamy flavors of traditional Caesar dressing without the need for raw eggs or anchovies. With just a few pantry staples and a handful of fresh ingredients, you can whip up a crowd-pleasing salad that’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or your next gathering. Crunchy homemade croutons and a zesty, parmesan-rich dressing make this simple recipe feel like a gourmet treat—ready in minutes and sure to impress.

Ingredients

Dressing
3 Tbls Mayo
1-1/2 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
½ tsp Lemon juice
½ tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Garlic Pepper
1 heaping Tbls grated Parmesan

Directions

Whisk together Mayo, Vinegar, Lemon juice, Garlic powder & Garlic Pepper.
Taste dressing and adjust Seasonings to your liking. Add Parmesan. Cover & Refrigerate until ready to use.

Croutons
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut up 4 – 6 slices of Bread – your choice.
Place on Cookie Sheet covered with Foil. Toss with approximately 2 Tbls of Olive Oil.
Sprinkle with Garlic Powder and Italian Seasoning. Mix all together & spread out on Cookie Sheet.
Bake for 10 min. then with spatula, toss around. Bake another 10 min, or until browned & crunchy.

Let Cool until ready to use.

Assemble Salad
Slice up 4 Cups Romaine lettuce, place in Salad bowl. Add ½ cup grated parmesan cheese.
Just before serving, Toss with salad dressing, add croutons and additional parmesan on top.
