Grilled Halibut

In Alaska we Love our Fish & Halibut is perfect for Summertime grilling. You may also use Cod, or other white fish instead.

2 TBLS Olive Oil
4- 6 oz Halibut Fillets, approx. 1” thick
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon pepper
Pinch cayenne pepper
Sea Salt & Pepper
Green Onions, chopped, if desired
Lemon, cut in wedges

Directions

Instructions
Clean the grates of your grill with an oiled paper towel before preheating.
Now, Preheat the grill to med. High heat for approx. 10 min.
In small bowl, mix Mayo, lemon pepper & cayenne
Pat your Halibut Filets dry with Paper Towel
Sprinkle tops with Salt & Pepper
Coat the tops of your fillets with Mayo mix, evenly (about ¼ cup each)
Place the Halibut on the grill, Mayo side up, close the lid & lower temp. to med.
Cook approx. 8 – 10 min., until internal temp. is 135-140.
Place on plater & let rest 3-4 min. cover loosely
Sprinkle with chopped chives, if desired
Serve with Lemon Wedges.
