Rainy Pass Recipes

This Recipe is an old Perrins Family favorite & now a Rainy Pass Lodge tradition on the 4 the of July!!! So let’s all celebrate our Independence Day!!!

This recipe was passed down from Steve’s Dad and it is a Fall favorite at our lodge & home. Steve often bakes up a double batch to share with family and friends!

Its grilling season and these short ribs work so well at the Lodge, but also our guides serve them in camp – they are quick & delish!

This recipe is our “Go To” bread recipe when we need a quick French bread. You can easily double the recipe for a larger group or freeze a couple loaves for a later date. We wrap loaves in Saran wrap, then aluminum foil.

This special drink is for all our Michigan Friends who joined us at the Lazy CK Ranch! …you know who you are!! 😉 Hope all others enjoy it as well!!

My Aunt Janet gave us this recipe in 1986 – it has been a Family & Lodge favorite ever since! Goes great with a Ham or Pork Roast.

This recipe is quick & delicious! You can easily substitute the Moose for Venison, Elk or Beef. Pairs well with mashed potatoes and roasted Asparagus.
